The Comparative Study of the Results of Thermal Acceptance Tests of the Steam Turbine K-325-23.5 with Guarantee Values

Анотація

The reconstruction of the unit № 1 in power plant included the installation the new steam condensing turbine
K-325-23,5 with output power 325 MW. There was a need of conducting thermal acceptance tests of the turbine. The test was conducted by join stock company ²LvivORGRES². Now, we can compare the test results with the guarantee values. But first, we need to correct of the test results to specified guarantee conditions. The correction is effected by complete recalculation of the turbine and its thermal cycle by a computer program with the consideration of the characteristics of the turbine and plant components and the operating conditions during the test. This method yields a complete correction directly, without the use of individual correction factors and also takes into account to a large extent the interdependence of different variables. The comparison of corrected test results, such as power output, thermodynamic efficiency and heat rate, shows that the reconstruction of the unit № 1 was conducted successfully.
